Gas Utility Construction and Service

At M State, you will be trained to install, maintain and operate the high- and low-pressure natural gas distribution systems that supply residential, commercial and industrial customers. The 32-credit diploma program, offered on our Wadena campus, was created in 2015 in response to strong industry demand for trained gas technicians throughout the region.

PLEASE NOTE: The Gas Utility Construction and Service program will not be offered for the Fall 2018 semester. A start date for the program has not been determined. If you are interested in enrolling in the program, please email enroll@minnesota.edu.


First-year graduates launch into gas-industry careers

Each of the students had his own reasons for enrolling in the Gas Utility Construction and Service program at Minnesota State Community and Technical College last fall, but all are leaving with something in common: a job.

This year's six-man graduating class was the first for the 32-credit diploma program, which began in the fall of 2015 on M State's Wadena campus.
