M State social workers
Meet the M State college social workers
M State social work services are free and confidential. Social workers are available to meet on campus, by phone, email and virtual appointment to help students navigate barriers experienced outside the classroom or on campus. These challenges can include:
- Food insecurity
- Housing
- Transportation
- Childcare
- Energy assistance
- Legal Aid
- Medical insurance
- Laptop/technology assistance
- Emergency/crisis situations
- Follow-up with community providers
M State social workers communicate with a variety of community agencies and make referrals as needed to help students get connected to resources and programs. We encourage you to reach out to the campus social workers any time to learn about the community and campus resources available to you when you choose M State. If ever in doubt about an issue, just ask!
