Kelly Hecker

Kelly Carlson joined M State in 2007 and began teaching in the medical administrative programs area in 2012. Prior to joining M State, Kelly taught medical coding at Alexandria Technical & Community College and has experience working within in health information as a coding specialist, transcriptionist and administrative assistant. Kelly earned an associate of science degree in health information technology from North Dakota State College of Science, and a bachelor's degree in career and technical education and a master's degree in teaching from Bemidji State University. Kelly is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Professional Biller (CPB) through AAPC.
