If you intend to transfer credits from another institution to M State, those credits will be evaluated after you are accepted at M State. We evaluate only the credits listed on official transcripts received directly from the sending institution. Once your transcript has been evaluated, we will notify you via email with instructions to review your Degree Audit Reporting System (DARS) audit.
Course equivalencies for a number of colleges and universities within our region can be found at transferology.com. Using M State as the college you wish to attend, you can find course equivalencies that already have been established as transferable to M State. Additionally, any courses taken at other Minnesota State institutions and assigned within any of the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (MnTC) goal areas will be assigned to the same goal area(s) when transferred to M State.
