An international student is defined as someone who is not a U.S. citizen or U.S. immigrant and is seeking admission to Minnesota State Community and Technical College. Permanent residents, refugees and political asylees must follow the regular admissions process, not the international student admissions process. All international students must complete the International Student Requirements Packet to be considered for admission to M State.
All documents needed for acceptance must be received by M State prior to these international student admissions deadlines:
- Spring semester deadline: Dec. 1 for "in-status" applicants already in the U.S. transferring from another institution
- Summer semester deadline: International students will not be admitted to summer term
- Fall semester deadline: Aug. 1 for "in-status" applicants already in the U.S. transferring from another institution
