The study of health sciences encompasses a wide range of disciplines related to improving and maintaining human health, including nutrition, public health, epidemiology, biostatistics, environmental health, community health, medical ethics and more. Combining traditional medical knowledge with new technologies, research methods and practices, the ultimate aim of health science is to develop effective strategies for the prevention and treatment of diseases, and to promote healthy lifestyles.
This Transfer Pathway provides a broad base of general education coursework to give you a solid educational foundation in the health sciences. After finishing the program, you can seamlessly transfer into a related bachelor’s degree program at any of the Minnesota State system's seven universities: Bemidji State University, Metropolitan State University, Minnesota State University Mankato, Minnesota State University Moorhead, Southwest Minnesota State University, St. Cloud State University and Winona State University.
