Dr. Marc Anderson's two decades of academic research has focused on plant responses to environmental stress, including physiological responses in various crops to insect pests, low-temperature stress, pro-oxidants and viral pathogens. He is broadly interested in biology, especially the impacts of climate change, biofuels, genetic engineering and neurobiology.
Anderson earned a B.S. in Biochemistry from NDSU in 1986; an M.S. in Entomology from NDSU in 1989; and a Ph.D. in Plant Physiology from Iowa State University in 1995.
