Automotive Service Technology

Relevant coursework coupled with hands-on lab practice at our on-site Transportation Center will train you in the diagnosis, repair and preventative maintenance of gas-powered, electric and hybrid cars and light trucks. Program instructors are highly skilled, with years of experience in the private industry, and Automotive Service Technology graduates are routinely recruited by businesses throughout the region – some are hired into the field while still in school, and can apply what they’re learning in class to their daily duties on the job.

The program covers:

• Gas-powered, electric and hybrid vehicle systems
• Vehicle operating system theories
• Diagnosis of vehicle operating system problems
• Repair of vehicle operating systems
• Interpreting service information
