"I went to a high school Career Day (in Moorhead) and they walked us through the transportation center at M State, and that got me wanting to go to M State. I took auto classes in high school and that sparked my interest in the field. 

M State and the Automotive program are great. I learned a lot and got to work on a little bit of everything. I really like lab time, when you get to actually work on things, hands-on. I made some good friends. 

I worked in the quick lane of a local dealership while still in school, doing oil changes, changing tires and that sort of thing; they moved me up to a tech position after I graduated."
