M State tutoring support

M State professional tutors are away from campus at this time. Reduced summer availability will be posted when it is finalized. Tutor.com remains available for current students and can be accessed 24 hours 7 days week.

To access Tutor.com, log into your D2L Brightspace account and click on Tutor.com in the drop-down menu under Academic Resources. For questions, please reach out to Angela.Mathers@minnesota.edu.

For assistance in navigating an online course, log into D2L and, under the Academic Resources drop-down menu, click on How to Use D2L Brightspace. If you're in need of additional assistance, we recommend you stop by your campus Spartan Center or speak with your instructor.

Online tutoring through Tutor.com

We know your life isn't 9-5, and your tutoring doesn't have to be, either. M State has partnered with Tutor.com to provide our students FREE online tutoring to support your academic success. Tutors are available 24/7, so you can study on your own schedule.

Subject areas supported include accounting, English, economics, computer science, healthcare, math, writing and more.

Availability: While Tutor.com offers 24/7 service, immediate access to tutors in your chosen area may not be available. Make sure to plan ahead.

  1. You have 15 hours of free access per year.
  2. Tutoring is not available for every course. If you need help in a course, let us or your instructor know.
  3. While we understand online tutoring might not be for everyone, we encourage you to give it a try. If you live near an M State campus, you are also welcome to use the tutoring services available in the Spartan Centers.
