We know your life isn't 9-5. Your tutoring doesn't have to be either. M State has partnered with to provide our students FREE online tutoring to support your academic success. Tutors are available 24/7, so you can study on your own schedule.

Subject areas supported include accounting, English, economics, computer science, healthcare, math, writing and more!

  1. You have 15 hours of free access per year.
  2. Tutoring is not available for every course. If you need help in a course, let us or your instructor know.
  3. While we understand online tutoring might not be for everyone, we encourage you to give it a try. If you live near an M State campus, you are also welcome to use the tutoring services available in the Spartan Centers.

M State offers FREE professional and peer tutoring support in Detroit Lakes, Fergus Falls, Moorhead,and Wadena.

We encourage you to stop by your campus Spartan Center. Whether you need a place to study, a bit of support on a homework assignment or the opportunity to use a white board, this is the place for you. Our professional tutors, faculty, and student mentors are eager to work with you and help you achieve academic success at M State!

Each of the campus Spartan Centers offers free workshops open to all students on topics such as time management, study skills, financial planning, and how to read your DARS (Degree Audit Reporting System) audit. Visit your campus Spartan Center to see what will be offered throughout the academic year. If you have suggestions for topics, we encourage you to share them with us.

This overview will guide you and provide tutorials to get you comfortable with navigating your online course.
