Cole Riegert is a 2024 SkillsUSA Championships bronze medalist.

The law change will allow M State and other postsecondary CDL training programs to expand, helping ease CDL testing backlogs in Minnesota. A special event to announce the law change was held on M State's Moorhead campus on July 19.

Students who earn an M State Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences may now transfer to Valley City State University to earn a Bachelor of Science in Education degree in Technology Education, without losing time or credits.

Five new members have joined the board for the upcoming term, and new officers have been elected.

Criminal Justice graduates Kyle Huewe and Cuyler Johnson, now both police officers in Moorhead, have been recognized for two separate, remarkable rescues. Also of note, Moorhead Sgt. Scott Kostohryz, an M State Criminalistics professor, has been named Midwest Region Law Enforcement Officer of the Year by the American Legion.

NACEP accreditation denotes the highest standard of excellence in concurrent enrollment programming. M State's reaccreditation is valid for the next seven years, through the 2030-2031 school year.
Ellia Soydara has made M State history as the first Spartan women’s golfer to earn national championship honors.
The team has placed within the top five in 11 of the past 12 championships.
Tungseth, who was an outside hitter for the Lady Spartans from 2015 to 2017, will also serve as the Assistant Student Life Director at M State’s Fergus Falls campus.

The college named 480 students to the President's List and 531 students to the Dean's List.
