M State will perform "Leaving Iowa" at 7:30 p.m. March 28-29 and April 4-5 and 2 p.m. April 6 at the Waage Theatre on M State’s Fergus Falls campus.
Damon Lanoue, a sophomore in the Graphic Design program at M State, won a Gold ADDY award in the student division of the American Advertising Federation of North Dakota’s annual awards show, held at the Avalon Events Center in Fargo on February 28.

The Criminal Justice Association (CJA) at M State presented donated foods to the college’s Campus Cupboard in Moorhead on March 12 following a winter food drive.
The M State Fergus Falls campus will host a public Send-Off/Selection Show party with players and coaches on Wednesday, March 5 beginning at 1:30 p.m.
“Chesney is the prime example of what this partnership and opportunity can do for students and our region,” says Megan Adamczyk, director of dual enrollment and K12 partnerships at M State. “She has taken this opportunity and turned it into a career pathway and paying job while still in high school. Her experience exemplifies the mission behind this dual enrollment program, which is to provide career training, credentialing and field experience to high school students in our region, particularly in fields that greatly need employees.”

M State information technology students participated in the 2025 Minnesota State Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition.

Nature is a common thread in the art exhibits, with the fiber creations of Mary Jo Wentz and watercolor batiks of Ruth Hanson tied together by the two artists’ appreciation for the natural world.
M State has partnered with Sanford and the Moorhead High School Career Academy to provide dual-credit, no-cost emergency response training to high school students.

Congratulations to the 1,179 students who earned academic honors at Minnesota State Community and Technical College for their achievement during the spring 2024 semester.

Five higher education institutions – Concordia College, Minnesota State University Moorhead, North Dakota State College of Science, North Dakota State University, and Minnesota State Community and Technical College – came together to enter into the Metro College Alliance course exchange agreement.
