Dr. Mark Bannatyne joined M State as the dean of the School of Applied Technology in the fall of 2022. He has more than 30 years of experience as a college faculty member, department chair and dean, and has received five appointments as a Fulbright scholar.
Bannatyne holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Industrial Technology from Purdue University, a master of science degree in Industrial Technology, and a bachelor of science degree in Industrial Technology Education, both from Utah State University. He also has a diploma in Machine Tool Technology from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
