Career Counseling

"Find a job that you love and you will never have to work a day in your life."  -Confucius

M State's career counselors provide career assessment and planning assistance for students through individual appointments, classes and workshops. They also conduct career exploration and provide information about career resources. Additionally, the Career Center on the Fergus Falls campus is open for walk-in use or counselor-assisted appointments during scheduled hours. The Career Center houses a wide range of resources and services to help you learn more about yourself, the world of work and job search techniques. The resources include printed, video and computerized career guidance and exploration materials.

M State counselors are able to schedule appointments to explore a variety of career options. All of the testing is free and helps students gain a better understanding of career options and the needed steps to explore careers. Appointments can be made for in-person, Zoom, or telephone options
