On-Campus Student Employment
Working on campus is a great way to gain experience, provide a service to M State, and earn while you learn in a flexible and supportive work environment tied to the academic calendar. You can earn $17 an hour for up to 10 hours of work per week and win prizes by participating in fun activities to learn employment skills.
Some jobs available for non-work-study students
While most on-campus jobs are available for those who qualify for work study funds awarded by financial aid, some are available for anyone, regardless of financial aid status.
About work study
Work study is a need-based program that helps students meet financial obligations while attending college. Part-time on-campus employment up to 10 hours per week may be an option if you are eligible for work study funds as part of your college financial aid package.
- Students must complete the financial aid process to determine eligibility.
- Work study jobs are available to U.S. citizens and eligible non-citizens. Work study jobs are not available to international students, but some departments are able to hire workers if funds are available through departmental budgets.
- Work study awards are paid bi-weekly in the form of paychecks for actual hours worked.
- There is no guarantee that students will earn the full amount of their work study award.
- Not all students are eligible for work study, and eligibility does not guarantee a position.
Requirements for work study
