PSEO Resources

Your StarID is your universal username for M State and all Minnesota State colleges. Once you activate it, you’ll use the same StarID and password to log in to nearly everything you need.

Use your StarID to log in to:

• E-Services
• Campus computers
• Printing
• Wireless access
• Email
• D2L Brightspace
• Minnesota State resources

Your StarID password expires every 180 days, so plan to update it regularly. To update your password, visit StarID.

SpartanNet is your main hub for all college resources - class tools, email, tech support, e‑services, and more.

To log in:

1. Go to minnesota.edu Click SpartanNet (top right under “Quicklinks”)
2. Log in with your starid@go.minnstate.edu and the password you created when you applied.

Once you're in, you’ll find:

• D2L Brightspace (“Go to Class”)
• E‑Services
• Email Tech support
• Links and resources
• Book ordering

E‑Services is where you:

• Register for classes
• View your degree audit
• Check your transcript
• See final grades
• Update personal info

Log in to access E-Services.

D2L is the online course management tool instructors use to post your class information.

To access your D2L:

1. Log in to SpartanNet
2. Click on Go to Class in D2L

To see if your computer is compatible:

1. Log in to your D2L through SpartanNet
2. Click Technical Help from the drop-down menu and do a Systems Check to ensure your computer system is compatible and properly configured for D2L
3. Click the Tools & Help Resources Tab to check computer requirements.

The most current browser versions of Edge, Firefox and Google Chrome are supported. IE 10 and older browsers are not supported.

Email is the official communication method at M State. Instructors and staff will contact you through your student account - you are responsible for checking it regularly. You must set up multi‑factor authentication (MFA) the first time you log in to keep your account secure. You’ll set up your email after you register for classes.

To access your student email:

1. Log in to SpartanNet
2. Click the green Email & Office 365 button
3. Sign in using username: starid@go.minnstate.edu and your StarID/SpartanNet password

1. Log in to your SpartanNet account
2. Scroll down to "Your Class Schedule"
3. Click "Buy Your Books"

Each instructional term, PSEO students must complete a Notice of Student Registration (NOSR) form. You must submit one form for each term each postsecondary institution you attend. For example, Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 each require a separate form.
