Project Purpose

The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic caused the college to swiftly move many courses to online and/or hybrid instruction which left many students without access to the technology needed to support them in their academic pursuits.

Deliverables
  • Identify a vendor(s) and purchase laptops to be used as “loaners” for students.
  • Create an application form for students to request to participate in the program.
  • Establish a process for applications to be reviewed by the college's social workers and campus IT staff to prepare laptop loaners for approved students.
  • Create agreement form for students to sign when picking up the loaned laptop.

Identification and purchase of laptops, imaging of laptops, creation of forms and process to distribute, track and manage loaned laptops across the college.
