Early Childhood

Before I enrolled at M State, I didn’t really know what I wanted to do for my career, but I knew that I wanted to work with children in some way. Now I’m a lead teacher at a daycare center, working with infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and I’m on my way to graduating with my bachelor’s degree from Southwest Minnesota State University’s Early Education online program in the spring of 2021.

M State prepared me with its very interactive early childhood program. Being able to have so many field experiences really helped me learn effectively and gave me hands-on experience, which I loved. If I hadn’t had the hands-on experience and different internships available to me, I don’t think I would have benefitted like I did – I don’t think I would have gone on further my education if it weren’t for M State and this amazing program.

I absolutely loved my experience. All my professors and advisors were always helpful and wanted me to succeed.
