Preliminary award letter

A preliminary award letter is an estimate of your financial aid based on information submitted in your FAFSA application. If you receive a preliminary award letter, it means that either final award letters have not yet been generated or your financial aid file is incomplete. (Please review your financial aid status under e-Services in SpartanNet to see whether additional documents are needed.)  If you still need to submit documents, your award may change after those documents are received.
