Richard Weber

Professional information: Teaching since: 2006 Education: I graduated from North Dakota State College of Science in 1980. Additional education: In 23 years in the John Deere construction equipment business, I attended all types of construction equipment classes. I also received training from Detroit Diesel Engine and Case New Holland. Prior work experience: I worked with RDO Equipment for 16 years in Fargo. My other John Deere experience was with dealers in Bismarck, Grand Forks, Fort Collins, Colo., and Dodge City, Kan. I have also worked for several construction companies and contractors. Family: I am married, and my wife and I have one son. Hobbies: I enjoy golfing and working on a diesel Ranger project. Comments: As a service manager with RDO Equipment, I hired and trained many technicians and found teaching to be a great fit for me. It has been wonderful to see students gain confidence as they learn our diesel technology. I work at making my students understand the job skills it takes to be a great technician who I would hire.
