“I’ve wanted to go into the dental field since seventh grade. In high school, I worked as a dental assistant, and now here I am, studying Dental Hygiene at M State.

It’s going really great. I love the program. I especially like the hands-on aspect, and getting to learn and practice on each other has been a lot of fun. The instructors are really supportive and do a great job of teaching us everything we need to know.

I’m from Dickinson, North Dakota, and I came to M State because it’s one of the few schools in the region that offers the Dental Hygiene program. I lived in student housing last year (via a partnership between M State and Minnesota State University Moorhead), and now I have my own apartment.

I plan to graduate in May 2028, and after that, I’m hoping to work as a dental hygienist.”
