Education and learning encouraged me to enroll at M State. I chose Liberal Arts and Science as my degree because I wanted to take some inspiring classes like philosophy, leadership, public speaking, religion and humanities.
I have enjoyed building a friendly network with instructors, working with a great staff and learning leadership, communication and networking skills. What I enjoyed most about my instructors was their humility and dedication, and that they worked from the heart with their students.
The skills I learned at M State help me to navigate the community and workforce, and pave the way for opportunities. I plan to transfer to MSUM to pursue a degree in Business Administration. My long-term goal is to open a business in the future … and to always give back to the community, because in giving we lift each other.
Haroon graduated from M State’s Moorhead campus with his Associate of Arts degree in December 2018.
