"When I moved here, I was looking around for a place to go to school and I drove by and saw the M State sign, so I looked into it. My dad always advised me to go to a community college, and that's why I came here. I didn't know anybody. I just came in one day and asked questions - 'How does school work? How do you come to school?' - and people helped me get my documentation and everything I needed to become a student."
