Getting my degree from M State in 2021 opened up career opportunities that would have otherwise been much harder to pursue.
My employer proposed the idea to me and was incredibly accommodating by allowing me to go to school while continuing to work full-time. The Design and Engineering Technology program also aligned with my interests and career goals, which made it a win/win.
I liked the smaller class sizes and being able to get to know the instructors on a personal level, and being able to park 50 feet from the door and be in class in two minutes was also great. I had attended a larger 4-year college in the past, and just getting to class some days was a daunting task.
Today, I’m still in contact with some of my former M State instructors and fellow students, and it’s broadened my network of professionals in the industry.
