“This scholarship has allowed me to rest a little easier as a single mother of two. While I am fortunate in my support system, a scholarship such as this gives peace in the form of groceries or even a car payment. This allows me to continue to take care of my children and work towards my goals in my education and career while working at Essentia part time. Maintaining a healthy balance between educational endeavors, work and family is no small feat and I am grateful to be allowed that opportunity."
