Anthony 'Ant' Russell

“The coaches and the environment are what made me want to come to M State and play football for the Spartans. Coach (Bernard) Holsey and Coach (Fernando) Reese are good leaders, and I wanted the opportunity to play for them.

I’m from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and I like it here on the Fergus Falls campus. I like everybody here. It’s been a good experience.

“My next goal is to transfer to a Division I school and keep playing football. Long term, I’d love to become an athletic director and coach at a college.”
