        		This course provides the fundamentals of computer-aided drafting (CAD) using the latest version of the AutoCAD drafting software. The course develops the CAD skills necessary to design and print complex two-dimensional drawings and sheet sets.

- Utilize geometric construction tools to produce drawing elements.
- Utilize modifying commands to manipulate drawing geometry.
- Analyze dimensioning techniques, annotation tools and dimension terminology.
- Calculate dimension, multileader and linetype scale factors.
- Create drawing layouts and scaled viewports for both single- and multi-sheet drawings.
- Apply hatch patterns to drawing geometry using appropriate hatching techniques.
- Design, define and utilize block geometry and attributes.
- Interface with the AutoCAD Design Center to incorporate existing drawing information into multiple files.
