“I went to a small high school in Osakis, Minnesota, and I loved how everyone knew each other and it was such a good community. When I toured M State, I got that same kind of feeling. I felt really comfortable here, and by the end of the tour, I knew this was where I wanted to go.

I love it here. I’m so happy I chose this school. I really like how interactive the instructors are with their students. I don’t think you’d get that as much at a bigger college. Here, I’m able to get more feedback from my instructors, and I really like that aspect of it.

After I graduate, I’d like to work at Lakeshirts (in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota). I’ve already had the chance to talk with one of the owners of the company, and that’s where I’d like to end up.”
