Herdina Construction Camp
The Herdina Construction Trades Camp on the M State Moorhead campus offers hands-on experience and instruction in the residential and commercial construction industries for students 15 and older. Camp participants work alongside contractors and industry professionals to learn about occupations, tools, safety requirements and skills required for a rewarding career in the construction trades.

HOPE Camp
HOPE (Health Occupations and Professions Exploration) Camp gives students entering grades 11 or 12 in the fall four days of hands-on-activities and classes. Offered by Sanford Health Fargo and M State in Moorhead, this camp offers exciting opportunities to explore health professions and careers while becoming familiar with hospital and college settings. Most students attending the camp are considering college to become a health professional.

Scrubs Camp
Scrubs Camp is for high school students entering grades 9-12 in the fall who'd like to explore healthcare careers, make new friends, and experience college life. The camp is co-sponsored by Essentia Health, M State, Healthforce MN, and Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Detroit Lakes Entrepreneurship Camp
This free two-day camp for girls and young women ages 14-21 helps young women turn their talents and ideas into a real business. Held on the Detroit Lakes campus June 17-18 and led by local entrepreneur Beth Pridday, the camp features inspiring speakers, experienced mentors and hands-on business insights.

Moorhead Entrepreneurship Camp
This high-energy, two-day camp June 29-30 is designed to help girls ages 14-18 polish and present their original business ideas. Led by Laura Caroon, the founding director of the Spark Center for Entrepreneurship, the camp will include branding and mock-up creation, build confidence, and foster connections.

Designed for healthcare professionals, this annual conference hosts expert speakers discussing the latest techniques for screening, diagnosis and treatment of cancer, as well as personal, family and community impacts.
Connect to a Career participants practice medical-related career tasks
Connect to a Career
K-12 school counselors, teachers, administrators and youth agencies learn about technical programs that will prepare students for well-paid, in-demand careers. This two-day M State workshop is free to participants and includes meals and supplies. Graduate credit is available - register early!
