  2. Submit your high school/GED and all official college transcripts in PDF format to records@minnesota.edu. Or, mail to:

Credit for Prior Learning

You may already be eligible for college credit through credit for prior learning (CPL)! Credit for prior learning provides an opportunity to earn college credit by demonstrating how you have already met course-specific outcomes for your program of study. 

Ways you may qualify include:

  • Non-credit training or courses

Placement Testing

M State uses ACT, SAT, MCA, Accuplacer scores, high school GPA or previous college coursework to determine course placement.
