24 M State student-athletes earn MCAC academic honors
Twenty-four Minnesota State Community and Technical College (M State) student-athletes have been recognized by the Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) for academic excellence during the spring 2026 semester.
MCAC awards are presented to student-athletes who demonstrate a commitment to academic achievement while maintaining a full-time courseload and participating in a sport sponsored by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). They must have a semester or cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher or have qualified for the NJCAA All-Academic Award for the current academic year, and have completed a minimum of 12 credits during the semester.
Spring 2026 M State student-athlete honorees include:
- Baseball: Turner Blum, Brody Bose, Jonathon Dent, Keaton Dickey, Brodie Sather, Alex Specht and Drew Overby.
- Women’s Basketball: Jasmine Chapman, MaKenzie Dale and Kaitlyn Olson.
- Men’s Basketball: Braylon Baldwin, Devon Berg, Carter Clark, Seth Hamilton, Hayden Knick, Akeem Moko, Drew Overby and Nick Risen.
- Men’s Golf: Brant Baron, Thor Ewan, Adrian Fillipi, Kellen Murray and Sawyer Stromlund.
- Women’s Golf: Amara Neuerburg.
