Tami Vigesaa has a master of education degree in human development from the University of Minnesota and master's and bachelor's degrees in sociology from the University of North Dakota and Minnesota State University Moorhead, respectively.
Since 2014, Vigesaa has taught various sociology courses at Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Northwestern University, Maryville University, the University of North Dakota and Alexandria Technical and Community College.
