Steve Sandeen joined M State as an Electrical Technology program instructor in 2024, after 26 years of prior experience in education. He holds a master's degree in education, a bachelor’s degree in technology education, and is a master electrician and licensed journeyman. His career began in the U.S. Navy during the first Gulf War, where he developed a strong foundation in technical skills and teamwork.
Sandeen is passionate about fostering a hands-on learning environment where students can thrive and develop the skills necessary to excel in a rapidly evolving industry. His diverse educational background enables him to connect theory with practical applications, preparing students for successful careers in the electrical field, and he is always eager to inspire and guide his students toward their goals.
Outside of teaching, Sandeen enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
