Christine Frigaard

Christy Frigaard has a master's degree in early childhood from the University of North Dakota and a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Minnesota in Morris. She is also a graduate of Fergus Falls Community College (now M State Fergus Falls). She has worked in childcare for over 25 years, primarily as a preschool teacher. As an M State instructor, her goal is to prepare teachers to enter the field with the knowledge, skills and tools necessary to be successful right away. She wants educators from M State's programs to be able to use their education to support young children and their families, to help build strong communities. At home, Frigaard likes to cook and bake for her four adult children and their families, including three grandchildren. She also loves to read, especially children’s picture books.
