Lisa Bagne, Ph.D., has taught a wide range of psychology courses at M State since 2006. She earned a bachelor's degree in psychology, with a minor in family studies and a chemistry concentration, from the University of St. Thomas, and a master's degree and Ph.D. in clinical and health/social psychology from North Dakota State University.
Throughout her academic and professional career, Bagne has gained diverse clinical, research and teaching experience, including coordinating cognitive neuroscience and social psychophysiology and health laboratories. Her research interests include health behavior and risk perceptions, stress and health, aging and attention, prenatal maternal stress and child development, emotion regulation, eating disorders, cognitive behavioral therapy, and behavior modification.
She has presented locally, nationally and internationally on topics including universal design for learning, accessibility, and prenatal maternal stress and child development outcomes.
