Your success matters. We can help you succeed with academic support through tutoring services, career research and placement assistance, resume writing services and transfer resources.
M State offers professional and student tutoring on our campuses in Detroit Lakes, Fergus Falls, Moorhead and Wadena. For some selected subjects, faculty tutors may also be available.
We encourage you to stop by your campus Spartan Center. Whether you need a place to study, a bit of support on a homework assignment, or the opportunity to use a white board, this is the place for you. Our staff, faculty, and student mentors are eager to work with you and help you achieve academic success at M State!
Each of the campuses offers free workshops that are open to all students on topic such as time management, study skills, financial planning and how to read your DARS (Degree Audit Reporting System) audit. Visit a campus Spartan Center to see what will be offered throughout the academic year. If you have suggestions for topics, we encourage you to share them with the staff.
