Description: This course focuses on the nursing care of the maternal-child patient within the scope of the practical nurse. Curriculum threads including the female reproductive system and sexual health, peripartum nursing care, nursing care related to the newborn, infant, child and adolescent, and nursing care of the gynecological patient are integrated throughout the course.
Prerequisites: PSYC2222 AND PNSG1200
Corequisites: BIOL2262 AND BIOL2263
