M State in Baudette

In addition to the training field at its Wadena campus, M State is also very proud of its Electrical Lineworker training facility in the northern Minnesota community of Baudette. Due to increasing market demand and with incredible industry support, M State was able to develop an outstanding 30-acre training center with a 7,200-square-foot lab in the midst of an outdoor paradise. Students in Baudette will have the same learning opportunities and hands-on training as students in the lineworker program in Wadena while enjoying Lake of the Woods, one of the greatest fisheries in North America and the proclaimed Walleye Capital of the World.

The Community

The welcoming community of Wadena has a small-town atmosphere with the attractions of a larger community. Located at the gateway to Minnesota lakes country, it has many options for outdoor recreation and community involvement.
