The Campus

The Wadena campus of Minnesota State Community and Technical College offers degrees in a wide variety of fields, from Business Management to the Electrical Lineworker program. Through the multitude of degrees offered, students can choose to enter into many health, business, and technical fields or use their degree as a springboard for further education.

The Community

Wadena is a picturesque town; known as the "gateway to Lakes Country" it is filled with beauty, charm, and a well-established college. And the community offers a plethora of outdoor recreation, including cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, canoeing, biking, hunting, golfing, roller blading, horseback riding and fishing.

Career Programs

Health: Students can experience the multifaceted nature of our healthcare system, from the personal to the highly technical with degrees in Nursing, Medical Administration, and Health Information.

Business: Enter into the business world with degrees in Administrative Support or Accounting. Enhance your entrepreneurial skills in Management, Finance, International Business, and Marketing.

Technical: Become proficient in the trade of your choice and go into the workforce with a degree in Energy Services Technology, Utilities System Installation, Carpentry, Construction Electricity, Electronics, Telecommunications Technology, or Network Technology.

 

Associate in Arts Degree

For those students who wish to continue their education after receiving a degree, the Wadena campus offers the transferrable Associate in Arts degree and maintains transfer agreements for certain programs with many four-year colleges and universities in Minnesota.

Take US Highway 71 North to Wadena. Follow Hwy 71 to Colfax Ave / MN Hwy 29.
Turn LEFT at Colfax Ave. Follow Colfax for 5 blocks. The main campus parking lot will be on the left.


From the East

Take US Highway 10 West to Wadena. Follow Hwy 10 to US Highway 71. Turn LEFT on Hwy 71. Follow Hwy 71 to Colfax Ave / MN Hwy 29. Turn RIGHT on Colfax Ave. Follow Colfax for 5 blocks. The main campus parking lot will be on the left.


From the West

Take US Highway 10 East to Wadena. Follow Hwy 10 to US Highway 71. Turn RIGHT on Hwy 71. Follow Hwy 71 to Colfax Ave / MN Hwy 29. Turn RIGHT on Colfax Ave. Follow Colfax for 5 blocks. The main campus parking lot will be on the left.


From the North

Take US Highway 71 South to Wadena. Follow Hwy 71 to Colfax Ave / MN Hwy 29.

From the Southwest

If you're in the Fergus Falls / Alexandria area - take MN State Highway 29 north to Wadena. The main campus parking lot will be on the right as you enter Wadena's city limits.
