We’re excited to meet you and help you get ready for fall semester during Welcome Day on Monday, Aug. 26.
All students, both new and returning, are invited to attend M State's traditional Welcome Day on Monday, Aug. 26. During the day, you can connect with resources, discover student clubs and organizations, learn your way around campus and meet instructors, staff and fellow students.
Please note that only classes that meet at 4 p.m. or later on Aug. 26 will be held as scheduled.
Welcome Day kicks off at 9 a.m. in your program classroom/area. You can arrive any time after 8:30 a.m. to get to your classroom (look for staff and signs posted throughout campus to direct you).
A Welcome Day information session starts at 9:30 a.m., with a lunch break from 12:30-1:15 p.m. During your break, you can:
The morning program meetings will continue from 1:15-3:30 p.m., with Welcome Day wrapping up at 3:30. Check the monitors to see if you won a prize before leaving for the day. Prizes can be picked up at the Student Services front desk.
Welcome Day kicks off at 9 a.m. with registration at the main entrance of Legacy Hall. Events start at 9:30 a.m.

Following lunch, events will continue from 1-3:15 p.m. The day will wrap up at 3:30 p.m.
This year, you will have a choice of two Welcome Day sessions.
Session 1: Begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m.
Session 2: Begins at 11:30 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m.
