Sign Language Interpreting - Medical

The Sign Language Interpreting - Medical certificate program provides specialized training for sign language interpreters in the field of medical interpreting. The 18-credit certificate program is offered online. Students will expand their existing interpreting skills and prepare to facilitate communication between patients who use American Sign Language and their medical providers.

Students who enroll in the program must have either graduated from an Interpreter Educator Program or hold current interpreter certification.
