Fire/Emergency Medical Technician Technologies

At M State, you'll get the technical hands-on training needed for entry-level jobs in the fire service.


Our Fire/Emergency Medical Technician Technologies certificate program readies students with the basic knowledge and skills to meet International Fire Service Accreditation Congress or Proboard certifications and EMT testing requirements.

M State's hands-on training ensures you'll be familiar with all entry-level aspects of fire service. After completing the certificate, you'll be eligible for the State of Minnesota firefighter license after employment with a career fire department.

This 30-credit program is offered on our Moorhead campus.
