Panel addresses 'Why Native Representation Matters'
As part of Native American History Month in November, M State joins in sponsoring a virtual panel discussion entitled “Why Native Representation Matters in Educational Settings.”
Other sponsors for the discussion, scheduled for noon-1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, include NDSU, MSUM, Minnesota Indian Education, North Dakota Indian Education and Native Roots Radio.
The event is free and geared toward teachers, faculty and administration in grades K-12 through post-secondary institutions. CEUs are available in Minnesota and North Dakota.
Event registration is required. Participants who register will be emailed on Nov. 7 with a link to the event.
