M State ranked No. 5 among nation's top community colleges

Minnesota State Community and Technical College is No. 5 on Learn.org’s list of the 50 Best Community Colleges in the U.S., according to the website’s 2019 college rankings.

Rankings were based on multiple factors including academic and career resources, quality of education and faculty, program offerings, student services, campus activities and school data reported by the U.S. Department of Education.

M State “is proud to offer an array of liberal arts and career and technical programs in numerous fields, including business, engineering, human services, computer information services and natural resources,” the website notes.

It also cites M State’s participation in Tri-College University, a course exchange with Concordia College, Minnesota State University Moorhead, North Dakota State College of Science and North Dakota State University.
