HIT program ranks as one of nation's best
M State’s Health Information Technology/Coding program has earned a top ranking for The Best Registered Health Information Technician by the website Intelligent.com.
The 2021 rankings are based on factors including student engagement, potential return on investment and leading third party evaluations. Of 153 colleges analyzed, only 50 were ranked on the final list, with M State ranked No. 7 and designated “Best for Coding.”

M State’s 64-credit HIT program is offered entirely online and has enrolled students from more than 30 different states. The program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education in association with the American Health Information Management Association. Graduates are eligible to sit for the Registered Health Information Technician certification exam through AHIMA.
