M State hosts ‘A Gathering of Perspectives’

Nearly two dozen artists from across the nation will have their artwork on display from Nov. 1-Jan. 25 in Waage Gallery on the Fergus Falls campus of Minnesota State Community and Technical College.

The exhibition, entitled A Gathering of Perspectives: Cultivating Community, features artists celebrating their ability to foster the growth of community and culture by actively engaging in affairs of inclusion through artist dialogue.

While their perspectives may differ, the participants’ voices contribute to a greater discussion of the roles and responsibilities of artists in our society.

The gallery is open during regular college hours, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and admission is free.

Among the participating artists are M State visual art instructor John Charles Cox and M State alumna Sarah Bigelow, now a visual arts student at Augsburg University in Minneapolis.
