Students explore health care careers at Scrubs Camp

Nearly 70 high school students donned scrubs and gloves to explore health care careers on Minnesota Community and Technical College’s Moorhead campus on July 31 and Aug. 1.

The students visited M State as part of the week-long Scrubs Camp sponsored by Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Faculty members led students in hands-on sessions related to M State’s programs in Nursing, Cardiovascular Technology, Surgical Technology, Dental Assisting and Hygiene, Mental Health/Counseling, Health Information Technology and Medical Administrative Assistant.

Scrubs Camps are held statewide each summer and sponsored by HealthForce Minnesota to introduce middle and high school students to health care careers and inspire them to pursue careers in health care fields.
