Chamber Chorale concert showcases talents of area musicians

With songs from the Righteous Brothers and the Eagles to Twila Paris, the Minnesota State Community and Technical College Chamber Chorale will showcase the musical talents of more than 40 area singers at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 23, in Legacy Hall on the Fergus Falls campus.

The Chamber Chorale Showcase Concert also will include the premier performance of “I Would Build a Cloudy House” by David Stoddard, a music theory instructor and accompanyist in the M State Music Department.

The Showcase Concert, directed by M State Choral Music Director Teresa Ashworth, will feature small group ensembles and soloists performing music by an array of popular performers.

Chamber Chorale singers will include Ken Howe, Bridgette Munsterman, Carol Tornquist, Deborah Embretson, James Stenger, Zhanna Ricks, Samantha Botko, Sandy Thimgan, Cathy Peterson, Jim Iverson, Bob Budke, Glen Sivertson, Craig Winters, Dennis Hanson, Harriet Wicklund, Laurie Strom, Stephanie Sanderson, Joni Wasberg, Carol Mikkelson, Dick Tamke, Rod Tornquist, Paul Sanderson, Rich Schaller, Jolene Osander, Ramona Caswell, Carol Dudgeon, Ruth Aulds, Diane Prischman, Katie Tripp, Marlene Wahlin, Sharon Taylor, Sylvia Nygaard, Linda Tikkenen, Keith Melberg, Sue Kilde, Cindy Holte, Helen Etnier, Tim Magnuson, Mike Wicklund, Dale Hanson, Tom Rasmusson, Teresa Ashworth, Braden Ashworth and Tim Swedberg.
