Titan Machinery and CNH Industrial recently presented a check to Minnesota State Community and Technical College-Moorhead/Moorhead Community and Technical College Foundation as the first installment of a $100,000 commitment to support the Diesel Equipment Technology program and the new Transportation Center. In addition to the latest donation, both Titan Machinery and the CNH Industrial brands made up of CaseIH, Case Construction and New Holland have maintained a long-standing partnership with M State, providing equipment, training aides and manufacturer support to develop and maintain the “Forging the Future” Diesel Equipment Technology program and the new Transportation Center recently completed on campus. The new facility and other recent investments will ensure that students enrolled in the Diesel Equipment Technology program receive the latest in hands-on training and are ready to enter the industry upon graduation.
Presenting the check on behalf of Titan Machinery and CNH Industrial was David Meyer, CEO of Titan Machinery. “The equipment that our customers depend upon to produce the food that we eat and the infrastructure that underpins our economy is becoming more complex all the time,” said Meyer at the event. “Now more than ever it’s critical that we have an established pipeline of high-quality technicians that are trained in the latest industry technology and are ready to go to work upon graduation. Our partnership with Minnesota State Community and Technical College has allowed us to provide world-class equipment support to the farmers and contractors that we serve.”
Titan Machinery operates one of the largest networks of full service CaseIH Agriculture, New Holland Agriculture and Case Construction equipment stores in North America. The company operates equipment stores in 11 U.S. states and four European countries representing a diversified mix of agricultural, construction and consumer products.
“This most recent donation by Titan Machinery and CNH Industrial is another in a long list of industry donations that the college has received from this great partner over the past several years,” stated Pat Nordick, M State Chief Financial Officer. “This donation not only provided funding which allowed us to finish our fantastic Transportation Center but also will provide funding for equipment for the program for years to come. With the continual financial pressures that surround higher education, these types of partnerships are vital for us to be able to sustain our programming and have state-of-the-art equipment for our students to train on.”
