The Pharmacy Technology program at Minnesota State Community and Technical College was recently ranked No. 5 nationally by BestCollege.com in its 2016 list of Best Online Pharmacy Technician Programs.
Colleges were ranked according to academic strengths, positive student outcomes, course offerings and virtual classroom experience for online learners, according to the website.
M State offers both a 60-credit Associate of Applied Science degree and a 36-credit diploma in Pharmacy Technology. Courses are taught online, and required lab hours are performed in the college’s state-of-the-art lab on M State’s Wadena campus.
An advisory board comprised of local and regional industry members reviews the program’s curriculum, ensuring that students learn the skills required by employers.
