Lori Larson has been named executive director of Fergus Area College Foundation on the Fergus Falls campus of Minnesota State Community and Technical College.
“I’m excited about leading the continued efforts of the foundation in making positive differences in the lives of students, donors and the communities we serve,” said Larson, who is a 1994 alumni of the Fergus Falls campus.
Larson assumes her duties with the foundation on July 1. She is currently serving as a regional specialist for the Central Minnesota Area Health Education Center and previously was involved in marketing and nonprofit work in the Fergus Falls community.
The foundation has been providing a solid legacy of support for the Fergus Falls campus for nearly 50 years. Its mission is to encourage the development and improvement of the college, along with its faculty, staff and facilities.
Each year it awards over $125,000 in scholarships to more than 100 students and also provides funds for faculty/staff grants and campus enhancement programs.
Larson succeeds retiring FACF Executive Director Carolyn Glesne.
